Here we are, the end of October…the beginning of the busiest time of the year. How am I going to make it to the New Year? That is the question on my mind. I already feel like I have been running around like a chicken with her head cut off, and you mean to tell me it is going to get worse?
Work- Getting busier each week, and people are already cranky. Get over yourself and smile when you come in please. I do it. You can do.
Classes- I just started another course, which makes 5 classes. Already I have about 237 pages of papers to do, edit and complete. Not to mention 3 interviews a few presentations and a possible internship position. I won’t even get started on Art Club activities.
Home- A dog who won’t quit, no matter how much exercise she gets or Xanax she is on. Oh, and the carpets need shampooing, and a generally disorganized basement that needs attention. Our Christmas cards are designed, but when am I actually going to be able to execute them?
Misc- The car needs new tires, my laptop is on its last leg, trip to Chesapeake, trip to Atlantic City, trip to Michigan, trip to southern VA, trip to Greensboro.
Okay, this is only the tip of the iceberg, but you get the picture, right? I know YOU have a great deal going on too, more even maybe. Good luck, we will make it!
Oh, and to add insult to injury, my drawing assignment this week is a... headless self portrait. Really? Really.
Fat girls do NOT LIKE self portraits.
I tried to be honest with myself and true to my work.
