Okay, so for the past few years we have taken Xav, one of the dogs, to go trick or treating with some of our favorite people, and thier parents.  M-and L- always have great costumes and Xav likes to dress up with them.  Last year the kids were Daphne and Shaggy, so Xav was...Scooby.  This year L- was Buzz Lightyear, so Xav was Slinky-Dog!

Great idea, good attempt, decent execution, poor participation from the pup.  But, enjoy anyway!

Okay, so today I worked a bit on the tulips from the other day...I am not going to post another picture of something that you would barely, if at all, see a difference in.  Soooo, that was MY art for the day.  But wait!  It's Wednesday, and you deserve a great picture, right?  Right!

First a little back story...these little frames and pictures were a secret santa gift from a work-friend many, many moons ago.  The only thing I remember about that party is opening my gift, and almost being in tears...these were so great!  Lauren, my secret santa, and the artist behind these little beauties made one thing clear.  "The gift is the frames, NOT the pictures...put the boys in them!  I'm not kidding." Or, something along those lines.

Well, a whole lotta years later, I have never changed the pictures.  I love them.  I get to think of Lauren every time I see them.

Day 16 & Day 17

So...yesterday was actually Day 16 and today is day 17.

This is a painting of my dog harper I did a few months ago.  Harper died yesterday. I made no art yesterday or today.  I might not make any tomorrow.
